General

This website is a static site. It does not use cookies, does not include tracking or advertising scripts, and does not set analytics identifiers.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting and delivery infrastructure processes technical information transmitted by your browser, including IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and device information, and referrer URL. The processing is necessary to deliver and secure the website, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are reliable delivery, security and error analysis. Logs are retained only for the operationally necessary period and are then deleted or anonymised unless a security incident or legal obligation requires longer storage.

Hosting recipients

The website is delivered through Vivd infrastructure and Cloudflare services. These providers process technical request data on our behalf or as independently responsible providers where their service terms require it. Website fonts, scripts, images and videos are served from the website itself; simply opening a page does not connect to social networks or advertising providers.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (your email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We retain correspondence only as long as necessary to handle the request and any resulting business relationship. Statutory commercial or tax retention duties may require selected correspondence to be kept longer.

Legal bases and retention

Pre-contractual and contractual enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General correspondence, website security and abuse prevention are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where a legal retention duty applies, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR is the legal basis. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

International transfers

Some infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where available, or by Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary safeguards. Information about the relevant safeguard is available on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection regarding your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Hamburg is Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit . To exercise your rights, contact hello@vivd.studio.
